Using the room on a Riverton lot
A big yard gives you choices that a small one doesn't. A full basketball court, a court with two sports striped side by side, or a single pickleball court tucked out of the way are all possible, and the question becomes where on the lot it should go. With enough room, a court can even have space at the side for a bench and a few spectators.
Distance from the house changes things. A court far back is quieter for the house and leaves the near yard open, but it means a longer run for power if you want lights, a path that won't turn to mud, and a longer trip for anyone carrying balls and water. A court closer in is easier to watch from a window. We walk the yard with you and talk through both.
Getting equipment to the spot matters on a big lot too. Excavation equipment and concrete have to cross the yard, so the route is planned around sprinkler mains, buried lines and soft ground, leaving as little damage behind as possible. Once the court is in, that same route often becomes the natural place for a path.
Old farm ground can also hold surprises below the surface, from soft spots to old fill. The site assessment looks for them before the base is excavated, compacted and graded to drain. The slab is post-tension concrete, topped with Sports Master acrylic sand-mix in your colors and painted with regulation lines.
