Farm ground is good for growing things and less good for holding up concrete. Topsoil that was plowed and watered for years is soft, so on a Riverton lot that used to be a field, the excavation may go deeper than people expect before the grade is set. Does old farm ground change how a court is built?
It can. Soft topsoil is dug out until the ground underneath can carry the slab, and the pad is graded so water drains away. We look at the soil when we walk the site.
What's the largest court you can build in Riverton?
That depends on your lot. With room, a full tennis court (78 by 36 feet of lines, plus space around them) or a full-length basketball court is possible.
Can we add a scoreboard and seating?
Yes. A scoreboard with a timer and a courtside bench are both on our add-ons list, along with rebounders, nets and windscreens.
