Two pickleball courts on a Riverton lot?
A single pickleball court needs a playing area of about 30 by 60 feet. Plenty of Riverton yards have that, and some have a good deal more, which opens a question city lots never face: one court, or two?
Two courts side by side mean eight players at once instead of four, so nobody sits out long at a family gathering. If two is more than you need, the extra room can hold a courtside bench, a scoreboard and timer, or a ball rebounder along one fence for practicing alone.
Space brings a couple of decisions with it. A court set far back from the house needs a longer run of power if you want Dominator LED lights, and it still has to be graded so water heads somewhere useful. We walk the whole lot before we plan, then excavate, grade and pour a post-tension concrete slab, the kind with steel cables drawn tight inside to hold small cracks closed.
