Tennis Court Resurfacing in Santa Clara, UT
On some Santa Clara lots, part of a tennis court sits on rock and part on filled ground. A crack can form where the two meet, and a resurfacing deals with it honestly, along with the rest of the court.

The crack that keeps coming back in Santa Clara
Santa Clara's ground is a mix of red sandstone, black lava rock and the soil between them. When a tennis court was built across that mix, part of the slab may rest on solid rock and part on fill brought in to level the site. The two do not always move the same way through hot summers and cool nights, and a crack can open along the line where they meet.
A crack like that is different from the hairline cracks that come with age. It may close in winter and open in summer, so a stiff filler alone tends to crack again. When we resurface, we repair it and tell you plainly what to expect: a moving crack can be managed, kept sealed and made smooth to play over, but it may need attention again down the road.
The rest of the court gets the full treatment: a deep clean to lift the red dust, the other cracks and low spots repaired, then acrylic resurfacer, new color coats and fresh regulation lines. Pickleball lines in a contrasting color can go on at the same time.
Santa Clara is about 3 miles from Ivins, where our Southern Utah crew is based. Estimates are free.

Questions
Asked in Santa Clara
Why does one crack on our Santa Clara court keep reopening?
It may be a moving crack, where part of the court sits on rock and part on fill and the two shift differently with temperature. Moving cracks need a repair that allows for that, and occasional attention.
Can a moving crack be fixed for good?
It can be managed well, but nobody can promise it never moves again without rebuilding the slab. We repair it to stay sealed and smooth, and tell you what to watch for.
Is it worth resurfacing a court with a crack like that?
Usually yes. One managed crack does not spoil a court. Resurfacing renews the color, grip and lines across the rest of it.
Is your crew nearby when we need it in Santa Clara?
Very close. Our Southern Utah crew is based in Ivins, about 3 miles away.
