Lines you can see on a Pleasant Grove court
Pleasant Grove calls itself Utah's City of Trees, and many of its yards mix sun and shade through the day. On a basketball court that matters more than you would think: a line that is easy to see at noon can disappear in late-afternoon shade or at dusk.
The fix is contrast. A medium or dark court color with white lines reads clearly in most light, and a key painted in a second color makes the lane obvious at a glance. Gold lines are another option on darker courts. We show you combinations side by side before anything is painted, so you can pick ones that work in your yard's light.
Under the paint, the court is built like any other we pour. The pad is dug and sloped so water leaves it, and the concrete is post-tensioned, steel cables inside drawn tight once it cures so cracks stay tight. Sports Master acrylic sand-mix is mixed in the colors you chose.
Dominator LED court lights solve the dusk problem outright, with a timer if you like. For the basket, a pinlock adjustable hoop serves the whole family from one pole. The drive from Mapleton to Pleasant Grove is short, about 19 miles, and we measure and price the court at no charge.

Supreme Custom Courts, and specifically Ola, we're wonderful. I called Supreme with what turned out to be a simple question on how to "fix" something on our Dominator hoop. About 10 minutes later Ola was at our house and two minutes later the problem was "fixed."

Questions
Asked in Pleasant Grove
Which line color is easiest to see?
White lines on a medium or dark court give the strongest contrast. Gold is a good alternative on darker colors.
Can the key be a different color on a Pleasant Grove court?
Yes. A key in a second color makes the lane easy to find at a glance, from the court or from the kitchen window.
Does shade affect the court surface?
Not the slab, but shaded areas can stay damp longer after rain or sprinklers. Good grading helps them dry out.
Which of your crews would build in Pleasant Grove?
The northern one. It works out of Mapleton, in south Utah County, about 19 miles away.
