Sport Court Installation in Pleasant Grove, UT
Below Mount Timpanogos, many Pleasant Grove yards step down the hill. Sometimes the answer there isn't one big court but two smaller ones on separate levels, and we build full and multi-sport courts either way.

Two levels, two games in Pleasant Grove
On a sloped Pleasant Grove yard, one large level pad is a big job, because the high side has to be cut down and the low side built up. On some lots there's a simpler answer: a half-court for basketball on one terrace and a pickleball court on another, each sized to the flat ground it sits on.
Whether it's one slab or two, the build follows the same steps. We excavate and grade each pad with a slight fall for water, then pour post-tension concrete. Its internal cables are stressed after curing, which keeps the concrete compressed and the playing surface flat for the long haul.
Splitting the games has a few side benefits. Little kids can shoot baskets on their own level while adults play pickleball on the other, the nets never get in the way of the hoop, and each court can have its own colors on Sports Master acrylic sand-mix.
Fencing on the downhill edge keeps balls from rolling away, and Dominator LED lights can be placed to cover both levels. Our Mapleton base is roughly 19 miles south, close enough that we'll gladly stop by and price both options at no cost.

Questions
Asked in Pleasant Grove
Is it better to build one big court or two small ones on a slope?
It depends on the slope and what you play. One large pad means more cutting and filling; two terraces can follow the ground. We sketch both on your lot so you can compare.
Can two small courts have different colors?
Yes. Each slab gets its own Sports Master acrylic colors and lines, so a basketball half-court and a pickleball court can each look the way you want.
Can lights cover two levels?
Dominator LED lights can be placed to light each court; we plan the poles along with the layout.
