Pickleball Court Installation in Spanish Fork, UT
Spanish Fork Canyon is windy enough that turbines turn on the hillside at its mouth. A pickleball court in town can feel that breeze too, and a windscreen on the right side of the fence tames it.

A Spanish Fork court that faces the canyon wind
Spanish Fork Canyon sends a lot of air out onto the valley, and the turbines turning above its mouth show how steady that air can be. Yards on the east side of town can feel that canyon breeze, and a pickleball, light and full of holes, is one of the first things it pushes around.
You do not always need to wrap the whole court. Windscreens on the stretch of fence that faces the canyon, or on the two sides the wind usually comes from, often do most of the work, and they can carry your name. We look at the yard's exposure at the site walk and suggest where they will help.
The court itself is a regulation one: 20 by 44 feet, kitchens marked 7 feet off the net, painted on Sports Master acrylic sand-mix. It sits on a post-tension slab, cables tensioned within the concrete once it has set, over a base we excavate and grade so rain runs off. A permanent net on sleeve-set posts holds steady in a gust.
Spanish Fork is only about 4 miles from our Northern Utah crew in Mapleton, so we can come out more than once while you plan. The estimate is free.

Questions
Asked in Spanish Fork
Do we need windscreens all the way around?
Not always. Screens on the sides facing the prevailing wind often do most of the work. We suggest where they will help once we have seen the yard.
Will a gust tip a pickleball net?
A portable one can. Posts set into sleeves in the concrete hold a permanent net steady, gust or no gust.
What else can a windscreen do?
Besides cutting the wind, it cuts glare and can carry your name or logo across the fence.
How near is your crew to Spanish Fork?
