Taking time over an Orem court's design
Because Orem is so close to Mapleton, a sport court here can be designed the unhurried way. We can meet you in the yard, sketch a layout, let you live with it for a while, and come back to adjust it before anything is dug. That's useful when a family can't decide between a full basketball key and room for pickleball, or isn't sure how much lawn to keep.
Orem grew up among orchards, and some older yards still carry an old tree or a garden plot right where the court wants to go. Soft ground like that is excavated until firm soil is reached, then graded so water drains away. Next comes the post-tension slab, with steel cables stretched taut after curing to keep the concrete from cracking in Utah County winters.
Once the base is down, the design you settled on comes to life. Sports Master acrylic sand-mix goes on in your colors, lines for each game in their own, and the extras follow: an adjustable or fixed hoop, a pickleball net, fencing, windscreens and Dominator LED lights.
For a player at Utah Valley University or one of Orem's high schools, a rebounder and a regulation hoop make the court a training space. Estimates are free, and you can try the designer on our home page in the meantime.

Can we take time to decide on the layout?
Yes. Orem is close to our Mapleton base, so we can sketch a layout, let you think it over, and adjust it before any digging.
What if there's an old tree or garden where the court should go?
Soft ground from old planting beds is dug out until the soil can carry the slab. If a large tree stays, we keep the court clear of its main roots.
Can the court help a college or high-school player train?
A fixed regulation hoop and a ball rebounder turn the court into a practice space, and volleyball lines can be added for players of that sport.
Is Orem close to your base?
Very. Mapleton, home of our Northern Utah crew, is a 14-mile drive, and the same trip takes us to Provo and Pleasant Grove.
