Building on flat Taylorsville ground the right way
Taylorsville's flat yards are a head start, but a court can't be perfectly flat either. If the surface has no fall at all, rain and sprinkler overspray sit in shallow puddles that leave stains and slow the drying after a storm. So every Taylorsville pad is graded with a slight, even pitch that carries water off one side, and a site that holds water gets subsurface drainage as well.
Then the slab: post-tension concrete, reinforced with cables that are tightened after the pour cures. That squeeze keeps the concrete together through freeze and thaw, which is what lets the acrylic on top last.
On a flat lot with room, a full build can be generous. A family with a player at Salt Lake Community College, whose main campus is here, or on a high-school team may want a full-length key and a regulation hoop; others want pickleball and volleyball for everyone. Lines for several sports can share one Sports Master surface, each in its own color.
Finish it with nets, fencing, a scoreboard and timer, and Dominator LED lights. The Northern Utah crew makes the trip from Mapleton, a little over 40 miles, and a Taylorsville estimate won't cost you anything.

Questions
Asked in Taylorsville
Why does a flat Taylorsville yard still need grading?
A court needs a slight, even fall so water runs off instead of sitting in puddles. Grading sets that pitch before the slab is poured, and drainage goes in under the court where a site needs it.
Can you take out an old asphalt pad and build a new court?
Yes. A new build starts by clearing the site, old paving included, then grading and pouring a post-tension slab. If you'd rather keep a court you already have, ask about resurfacing instead.
What extras make a full court feel finished?
The add-ons list covers nets, a regulation or adjustable hoop, chain-link fencing, windscreens and LED lights. A scoreboard with a timer and a courtside bench help when games get competitive.
