Cleaning up a Farmington court after the east winds
Every so often an east wind storm hits Farmington, and it can snap limbs, tip over patio furniture and push grit across every hard surface in the yard. A tennis court catches all of it. We repair those, fill the low spots, then apply acrylic resurfacer and fresh color coats, and paint new regulation lines over the top. The result is one even surface again instead of a court marked by every storm.
After a big wind it is also worth checking what stands on the court: net posts, fence posts and anything bolted down. We can replace a tennis net and posts with regulation ones and a center strap, and windscreens on the fence cut the wind at court level on ordinary breezy days.

Branches scraped our Farmington court in a windstorm. Can that be fixed?
Yes. Gouges and scrapes are cleaned out, filled and blended during a resurfacing, and new color coats go over the whole court so the repairs do not show.
What should we check after a big wind?
Look at the net posts, the fence and anything fastened to the court, and clear the debris off before anyone plays. Grit left on the surface wears it down quickly.
Can you replace our old tennis net and posts?
Yes. We install regulation posts, net and center strap, and it makes sense to do it while the court is being resurfaced.
