A Kaysville court that doubles as the party floor
Kaysville's Fourth of July brings the whole town out, and plenty of backyard tennis courts get pressed into service for the gathering afterward. A flat, fenced slab is the easiest place in the yard to set up tables, a canopy and a grill. Over the years that use leaves its own marks: scrapes from chair legs, rings from coolers, grease near where the grill stood, tape residue from games, and worn lanes where the crowd walked through.
A resurfacing clears that history away. We clean the court thoroughly, lift stains and residue, repair scrapes and cracks, fill any low spots, and then apply acrylic resurfacer, color coats and new regulation lines. The court comes back as a true playing surface, ready for the next gathering as well.
A few habits help the new color last: pads or mats under furniture, the grill kept on the lawn rather than on the court, and nothing dragged across it. If your court sees a lot of pickleball at those parties, we can add pickleball lines in a contrasting color.
Our Northern Utah crew is based in Mapleton, about 66 miles south, and works in Layton and Farmington next door. Estimates are free.

Questions
Asked in Kaysville
Can grease and cooler stains come off our Kaysville court?
Many lift with cleaning before the new coats go on, and what remains is covered by the resurfacer and color. Grease needs extra cleaning so the acrylic bonds over it.
How do we protect the court during a backyard party?
Put pads or mats under tables and chairs, keep grills and fire pits off the surface, and carry rather than drag anything heavy. Sweep up afterward so grit is not ground in.
Will tape from lawn games damage the surface?
Painter's tape for an afternoon is usually fine. Tape left down for days can pull up color when it comes off, and leaves a sticky residue that collects dirt.
