The first recoat on a newer Herriman court
Herriman has grown quickly, and so have its courts, in backyards and in neighborhood amenity areas. A court that is only a few seasons old can look fine from the street and still show the first signs of wear up close: a faint line of hairline cracks, color that has started to chalk, a spot by the baseline that has lost its grip.
That is the easiest moment to act. Small cracks are simple to fill and seal. Left alone, water works into them through Herriman's freezing winters and they widen until they need much more repair. An early resurfacing cleans the court, fills those cracks while they are small, evens out any low spots, and lays new acrylic resurfacer, color coats and lines over the whole surface.
It is also a chance to get the court the way you would have chosen it. Colors picked in a hurry during construction can give way to ones you like, the lines can include pickleball in a contrasting color, and fencing, windscreens or Dominator LED lights can be added.

Our Herriman court is fairly new. Does it really need resurfacing?
Not always. If the color is even and there are no cracks, it may just need cleaning. If hairline cracks or chalky color have started, an early recoat is far less work than waiting.
What happens to small cracks if we wait?
Water gets in, freezes and widens them each winter. Edges start to lift and the repair grows from a simple fill to real patching. Catching them while they are fine lines keeps the job small.
Can we pick new colors on a court the builder finished?
Yes. Resurfacing lays down entirely new color coats, so you can choose any court and border colors you like, and add a logo or pickleball lines.
Do you resurface neighborhood amenity courts in Herriman?
