Tennis Court Resurfacing in West Jordan, UT
Water that sits on a West Jordan tennis court after rain or sprinklers stains the surface, softens the coating and turns to ice in winter. Resurfacing fills those low spots and renews the whole court.

Fixing the puddles on a West Jordan tennis court
Walk a West Jordan tennis court an hour after the sprinklers shut off and you will find out where it is low. The puddles that linger, often called birdbaths, are more than a nuisance. Standing water leaves mineral rings, wears at the coating around it, and in winter becomes a patch of ice that keeps players off and works at the surface.
Fixing them is part of how we resurface. After the court is cleaned and the cracks are repaired, we find where water stays and fill those spots with patch material so the surface sheds water again. Only then do the acrylic resurfacer, the color coats and the new lines go on, so the fresh surface is not sitting over the old problem.
West Jordan runs from older lots near the Jordan River to newer neighborhoods climbing toward the Oquirrh Mountains, and its courts range just as widely in age. Some need little more than color. Others need real crack and patch work first. Either way, it is a good time to point sprinkler heads away from the court, and to add pickleball lines if your family plays both games.

Questions
Asked in West Jordan
What causes the puddles on our West Jordan court?
Low spots in the surface, from settling or uneven paving over the years. Water collects there instead of running off. We fill them during the resurfacing so the court drains across its whole face.
Do sprinklers damage a tennis court?
Over time they can. Overspray leaves mineral spots and keeps parts of the court wet. Aiming the heads away from the playing surface is one of the simplest ways to make new color last.
Will the new surface hide old cracks for good?
No surface can promise that. We repair cracks before coating, which closes them and keeps water out, but a court that moves underneath can crack again. We will tell you honestly what to expect from yours.
Is it worth adding pickleball lines in West Jordan?
If anyone at your house plays pickleball, usually yes. The lines go on in a contrasting color during the resurfacing, so tennis players can ignore them and pickleball players get a real court.
