Resurfacing a South Jordan HOA tennis court
In South Jordan, a tennis court is as likely to belong to the neighborhood as to one family. Daybreak and the other planned communities here built courts as shared amenities, and a shared court can see play from early morning until the light goes, now with pickleball players hoping for a turn too.
Heavy use wears the texture off the busiest spots first, behind the baselines and around the service lines, while sun and winter work on the color and the cracks everywhere else. A resurfacing renews all of it. We clean the court, repair the cracks and the low areas, then lay down acrylic resurfacer, new color coats and crisp regulation lines.
Boards usually want to know three things: what the court needs, what it will look like, and when it will be closed. We walk the court, write up the repairs, and lay out a color plan, including pickleball lines in a contrasting color if residents have asked for them. We schedule for spring or fall, when the coatings cure properly, and give you the dates ahead of time so residents can be told.

Can you give our South Jordan HOA board a written plan?
Yes. After we look at the court we write up what it needs, the colors and the line layout, and the timing, so the board can vote on something specific.
Where does a busy court wear out first?
Where players stand and push off most: behind the baselines and around the service lines. Those spots lose their texture first and can get slick. Resurfacing brings the texture back across the whole court.
Can tennis and pickleball share the court fairly?
Many communities do it by painting pickleball lines in a contrasting color and using portable nets, so the court can be set up for either game. We can lay out where the pickleball courts fit.
Do you resurface backyard courts in South Jordan too?
