The Layton court that doubles as an outdoor gym
Once it's built, a sport court is the flattest, cleanest outdoor floor you own. In Layton, with Hill Air Force Base at the edge of town, a court can end up as a workout space as well as a game space: agility ladders, jump rope, sprint starts, a first bike ride. Planning for that is mostly about size and surface.
On size, we look at your lot and the games you'd play, then leave a margin beyond the lines so drills and warm-ups have space. On surface, Sports Master acrylic sand-mix gives grip in sneakers, and CushionX, the AT Sports rubber layer we're certified to install under the acrylic, takes some of the pounding out of hard training.
The build itself follows the same order every time: excavation and grading for drainage, then a post-tension slab whose steel cables are tightened after curing to keep it compressed. Lines for basketball, pickleball or volleyball go on last, each in a color of its own.
Hoops, a rebounder, fencing and Dominator LED lights finish it. Layton is about 68 miles from our Northern Utah crew in Mapleton, and the visit to measure and price your court is free.

Supreme Custom Courts, and specifically Ola, we're wonderful. I called Supreme with what turned out to be a simple question on how to "fix" something on our Dominator hoop. About 10 minutes later Ola was at our house and two minutes later the problem was "fixed."

Questions
Asked in Layton
Can we use the court for workouts as well as games?
Yes. A sport court is a flat, grippy surface for drills, jump rope or conditioning. Leaving extra slab beyond the lines gives room for warm-ups and footwork.
Is CushionX worth adding for training?
If someone will put in hard sessions on the court, a cushioned layer under the acrylic takes some impact out of each landing. We can talk through how it compares with a standard surface.
How much room should be left around the lines?
Enough that players aren't running into the fence on a chase. For one pickleball court, the play area runs about 30 by 60 feet around a 20 by 44 foot court; basketball and volleyball need their own margins.
