Sport Court Installation in Nephi, UT
Nephi is home to the Ute Stampede, and its wide yards are made for outdoor life. A sport court here becomes the family's flat play space as much as a place for games, and we build full and multi-sport courts with that in mind.

A Nephi court for games, skates and scooters
A gravel driveway and a dirt lot don't do much for a kid with new roller skates. In Nephi, a sport court ends up being the smoothest surface on the property, and between games it gets used for scooters, chalk drawings and bike laps. That's a reason to think about size and edges, not just lines.
A slab a little larger than the lines strictly need gives young riders a loop around the court, and chain-link fencing on the open sides keeps them, and the balls, from rolling off into the yard. An in-ground adjustable hoop can start low and rise as the kids do, with pickleball lines for the grown-ups.
Under that, the court is built for Juab County weather, hot on a summer afternoon and cold the same night. The pad is excavated and graded so storm water runs off, and the slab is post-tension concrete, with steel cables pulled snug after it cures to keep the concrete compressed through those swings. Sports Master acrylic sand-mix finishes it in the colors you choose.
Our Northern Utah crew reaches Nephi with an easy 32-mile run down I-15 from its Mapleton base. The estimate is free, and the court designer on our home page is a fun place to start sketching.

Questions
Asked in Nephi
Can the kids ride bikes and scooters on the court?
Yes, it's a smooth, flat surface for wheels. Making the slab a little larger than the lines gives a loop for riding, and fencing keeps little riders from rolling off into the yard.
Is the slab built for hot days and cold nights?
That's the job of the post-tension slab. Steel cables tightened after the concrete cures keep it compressed, so the daily heating and cooling doesn't open cracks.
Can the hoop start low for young kids?
An in-ground adjustable hoop uses a pinlock to set the rim height, so it can start low and go up as the kids grow.
Does your crew travel to Nephi?
Yes. The Northern Utah crew drives down from Mapleton, about 32 miles on I-15.
