Many Ogden HOAs, churches and schools first tried pickleball on an old tennis court with temporary lines. When the game sticks, the next step is courts of its own, so pickleball and tennis players stop waiting on each other. A row of dedicated courts also makes open-play nights easy to run.
Layout comes first. Each court's lines are 20 by 44 feet, and each needs room around it; courts placed side by side share the space between them and one fence around the group. We walk the property, check access for equipment, and plan where courts, gates and benches go before anything is dug.
Then the site is excavated and graded so water clears every court, and a post-tension slab is poured, its steel cables tightened after curing to keep the inevitable small cracks closed. Sports Master acrylic sand-mix in the group's colors, regulation lines and permanent nets on sleeve-set posts finish each court.
Windscreens with your organization's name, courtside benches and Dominator LED lights on a timer make the courts easy to manage. Ogden is about 79 miles from our Northern Utah crew's Mapleton base, and the estimate is free.

Can you build several pickleball courts together?
Yes. Courts set side by side share one fence and the space between them. We lay out how many fit on your site at the walk-through.
Can the windscreens carry our organization's name?
Yes. Windscreens with your name or logo go on the chain-link fencing and cut wind and glare at the same time.
Can lights be scheduled for open-play nights?
Dominator LED lights can run on a timer or remote, so they switch off at a set time without anyone staying late.
Is it better to convert a tennis court or build new?
Both work. New dedicated courts free the tennis court for tennis; adding pickleball lines in a different color to a tennis court during resurfacing is the quicker option. We can price both.
