A Park City court for a home you're not always at
A lot of Park City properties are second homes, busy at Christmas and in July and quiet in between. A sport court on one of them should be ready the day you arrive and need little from you the rest of the year. That shapes the choices, from the slab to the nets.
Start underneath. At around 7,000 feet, winters are long and the ground freezes hard, so the court goes on a pad we excavate and grade to drain, under a post-tension slab whose cables are tightened after it cures. That keeps small cracks closed through seasons when nobody is there to notice them.
Then think about what stays out. Permanent pickleball posts in sleeves and a fixed regulation hoop can stand through winter; a portable net and windscreens can be stored. Dominator LED lights can run on a timer or a remote, so evening games in summer don't depend on remembering a switch.
Sports Master acrylic sand-mix in your colors covers it all, with lines for every game you play. The drive from our Mapleton base to Park City is about 37 miles, and we'll price the court at no charge.

Supreme Custom Courts, and specifically Ola, we're wonderful. I called Supreme with what turned out to be a simple question on how to "fix" something on our Dominator hoop. About 10 minutes later Ola was at our house and two minutes later the problem was "fixed."

Questions
Asked in Park City
Can a court sit unattended through a Park City winter?
Yes, if it's built for it. A post-tension slab on a well-drained pad keeps small cracks closed, and anything removable, like a portable net or windscreens, can be stored until spring.
Which add-ons are easiest to leave in place?
A fixed regulation hoop on an anchor kit, permanent pickleball posts and chain-link fencing all stay put. Portable nets and windscreens are the pieces to bring in.
Can the lights run without anyone at the switch?
Dominator LED lights can be set up with a timer or a remote, so they're on for games and off afterward.
Which sports suit a mountain court?
Whatever the family plays when it's here. Pickleball and basketball share a slab easily, and a larger lot can take tennis with pickleball lines inside it.
