Court Resurfacing in Saratoga Springs, UT
Compact Saratoga Springs yards put lawn and sprinklers right up against the court. That water leaves white mineral spots and keeps the edges damp. Resurfacing renews the court.

Sprinklers, hard water and a Saratoga Springs court
In a lot of Saratoga Springs backyards, the lawn runs right up to the court's edge. That looks good, but sprinklers set for the grass rarely stop at the line. Utah's water is hard, and every time it dries on a court it leaves a little of its minerals behind. Over a summer, the edges and corners pick up a white, chalky crust, and the coating there stays damp longer than the rest.
Damp edges wear out first. The color dulls, the texture softens, and small cracks along the perimeter take on water and widen in winter. On a resurface we clean the mineral film off, repair edge cracks and any low spots, then lay new Sports Master acrylic with sand for grip and repaint the lines.
The lasting fix is keeping the water off. Turning sprinkler heads, switching the strip beside the court to drip or gravel, or setting the timer for early morning so the court dries fast all help. We point out the heads that are hitting the court when we come for the estimate.
Saratoga Springs, on the west shore of Utah Lake, is roughly 24 miles from Mapleton. Our Northern Utah crew recoats courts here and in Lehi and Eagle Mountain.

Questions
Asked in Saratoga Springs
What are the white spots on our Saratoga Springs court?
Usually minerals left behind when sprinkler water dries. Hard water leaves a chalky film, worst along the edges the sprinklers reach. Cleaning removes most of it, and the new coats cover the rest.
Do sprinklers really damage a court?
Over time, yes. Edges that are wet every day lose color and texture first, and cracks there take on water. Keeping sprinklers off the surface is one of the easiest ways to make a resurface last.
What should be next to the court instead of lawn?
A strip of gravel, pavers or drip-watered plants keeps spray off the surface. Even a narrow dry border helps the edges last.
Who resurfaces courts in Saratoga Springs?
Our Northern Utah crew from Mapleton, roughly 24 miles away. It also recoats courts in Lehi, Eagle Mountain and American Fork.
