No waiting for a court in South Jordan

Pickleball has caught on across South Jordan, and anyone who has stood at the fence of a full neighborhood court knows how long a wait can feel. A court in your own yard means you play when you want, for as long as you want, with whoever you invite.

Most South Jordan lots, including the compact ones in planned neighborhoods like Daybreak, can take a single court if it is planned well. The lines measure 20 by 44 feet; allow about 30 by 60 for the whole playing area. We walk the yard, check where water goes, and grade the base so the finished slab sheds it.

That slab is post-tension concrete, with steel cables tightened inside it after the pour so small cracks stay shut. The surface is Sports Master acrylic sand-mix, in colors you pick, with regulation lines and a permanent net on sleeve-set posts, or a portable net if the space has other jobs.

Where an HOA reviews new projects, we help you put together what the board usually wants to see: the court's size, its colors, and whether lights or fencing are part of it. For South Jordan we send the Northern Utah crew from Mapleton, 36 miles or so down the road; estimates are free.

Supreme Custom Courts, and specifically Ola, we're wonderful. I called Supreme with what turned out to be a simple question on how to "fix" something on our Dominator hoop. About 10 minutes later Ola was at our house and two minutes later the problem was "fixed."

Questions

Asked in South Jordan

Will a pickleball court fit a Daybreak backyard?

Many do. A single court's lines are 20 by 44 feet, and the full playing area is about 30 by 60. We measure the yard and show you what fits before you decide.

Do you help with HOA approval?

Yes. We help you prepare the details an HOA usually asks for, such as the court's size and colors and whether it will have lights or fencing.

Should we choose a permanent or a portable net?

A permanent net on sleeve-set posts stays up all season and is ready whenever you are. A portable net suits a slab that also serves as a patio or a basketball area.

Which crew covers South Jordan?

The Northern Utah crew. It works out of Mapleton and builds all over the south end of Salt Lake County, Riverton and Draper included.
